Community Library Municipal Grant Program
The Community Library (CLMG) Municipal Grant Program provides $1 million in grants to all eligible municipalities to invest in community libraries which directly and jointly enable work, education, and health monitoring. The CLMG grant is the second round of the Community Learning Center (CLC) Municipal Grant program. Municipalities that did not receive subawards in round one were eligible to participate in round two.
Twelve municipalities are using CLMG funds to renovate 17 libraries across the State of Rhode Island.
Cranston and Warwick have signed subawards for more than one library renovation.
